Nice classic one screen theater. Not overly expensive tickets either. Always a great visit.
HUGE screen! 1,000 seats. Real classic Theater. Air conditioning perfect. Seats comfortable. Seats set so all seats are good - staggered and floor slant. Drink holders at seats.
Excellent throwback to classic theaters. Perfect place to see Stephen King's IT! Enhances the ambiance of the film's backdrop. Highly recommended.
Snack bar good. Pizza shop next door. Ice Cream store less than one block away. Across from Downers Grove Main Street Train Station North side . Street and lot parking. After Hours Film Society showings usually at this theater on some Monday nights.
Historic theater at a great price. Free soda and popcorn refills too. However most new movies don't show until after most other theaters do. Also parking lot is gravel without clear outlines for spots. Location is nice right in downtown downers grove, with a beautiful interior and exterior.
An excellent evening out. Movie tickets are cheap, popcorn has free refills, and it's in an excellent part of town to wander around after the movie and enjoy the evening. The screen is enormous and there's more than enough seating for any film they show.
On top of all this, they'll have their club films which are classics or little known but powerful independent films and at these events you can get yourself a beer or mixed drink. I've taken all my friends to the Tiv, they all agree it's the best theater around.
